ASPDOTNETSTOREFRONT LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)
By using or installing any software product created by AspDotNetStorefront.com, (hereafter referred to as Company) including software components, source code, and the corresponding documentation herein referred to as "Software"), you, as a Developer or Merchant (herein referred to as User) are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you, as a Developer or Reseller, are purchasing the software for your client, the client is also bound by this agreement, and you must notify them in advance of this end user license agreement which will license their website.
1. LICENSE GRANT AND RESTRICTIONS
In consideration for the license fee paid at time of purchase and subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement, Company grants to User, a non-exclusive, non-transferrable, non-sub licensable, worldwide right to use the Software to develop and deploy:
One (1) development database/website,
One (1) staging database/website, and
One (1) production database/website
per license purchased. User must also take all commercially reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized use or duplication of Company's code.
2. LICENSE TRANSFERS
Licenses may only be transferred only by prior written consent and approval of Company, and by following Company specified license transfer procedures. By way of example, if User purchases a license as contemplated herein on behalf of a customer of User or otherwise intends to transfer such license to a customer of User, User MUST first obtain prior written consent and approval of Company to effect such transfer, and MUST follow all Company specified license transfer procedures. Any attempted transfer not in compliance with this Section 2 shall render the transfer null and void and any license granted to User for the purpose of such transfer shall immediately terminate. As of such termination, use of any Software subject to such terminated license grant will be deemed infringement of Company's intellectual property rights, subjecting any such user to all damages and remedies available to Company for such infringement.
3. COPYRIGHT NOTICES AND PRIVATE LABELED WEBSITES
User may private label the website/software, but user must retain all copyright notices of Company in all source code files.
A valid copyright notice must be provided within any documentation created by User or any enhancements created by User, that specifies Company as the author of the original software, as exemplied by:
"<> contains software licensed from AspDotNetStorefront.com. This software may only be used as part of and in connection with <> and is subject to the End User License Agreement (EULA) of AspDotNetStorefront."
4. LICENSE FEES AND ACCEPTANCE
In consideration for the license grant of this Agreement, User has agreed to pay Company the amount set forth on www.aspdotnetstorefront.com (the "Website").
USER ALSO EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT PRIOR TO SUBMITTING ANY PAYMENT TO COMPANY, AND PRIOR TO INSTALLING SOFTWARE ON ANY SERVERS, THAT USER HAS REVIEWED THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
5. RECORD KEEPING
User shall keep complete and accurate accounts, records, books, journals, ledgers and data (the "Records") with respect to the number of storefront databases/websites created under this Agreement. Company and its representatives shall have the right, for cause, to inspect, copy and audit the Records and such other documents and computer records as may be reasonably necessary to verify the number of storefront databases/websites created under this Agreement. User shall retain all Records during the term of this Agreement and for at least five (5) years thereafter and make the same available to Company and its representatives within thirty (30) days after receipt of a written request for such records from Company. In the event Company determines a greater number of storefront databases/websites have been created/deployed other than as expressly authorized by Company under this Agreement, User shall pay to Company the extra license fees required to cover their installation plus 10%.
6. OWNERSHIP
The Software and any all intellectual property rights, including collateral and/or derivative rights associated therewith are the property of Company. Should any of rights relating to the forgoing become vested in User or a third party by User's use of the rights granted in this Agreement, User shall transfer and/or take all steps necessary, and without compensation to Company, to insure that all right, title and interest in the same vest fully and completely in Company.
The Software and any accompanying materials are copyrighted and contain proprietary information. Unauthorized copying of the Software or accompanying materials even if modified, merged, or included with other software, or of the written materials, is expressly forbidden, provided, User may make copies of the Software solely for backup purposes provided all proper legal notices are reproduced in their entirety on the backup copy. Company reserves all rights not specifically granted to Licensee.
The Software and documentation are licensed, not sold, to you. You may not rent, lease, display or distribute copies of the Software to others except under the conditions of this Agreement.
7. TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective until terminated. This Agreement will terminate automatically without notice from Company for failure to comply with any provision contained herein or if the funds paid for the license are refunded or are not received. Upon termination, User shall destroy the Software and all copies, in part and in whole, including modified copies, if any.
8. WARRANTIES AND INDEMNITIES
Although commercially reasonable efforts have been made to assure that the Software is correct, reliable, and technically accurate, the Software is licensed to User "AS IS" or to the maximum extent permitted by law, without any warranties as to performance of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or use, or any other warranties whether expressed or implied. User assumes all other risks when using the Software. User's sole and maximum remedy under this Section 8 shall be the return of any fees paid to Company under this Agreement.
EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE VALUE, CONDITION, DESIGN, FUNCTIONING, OF THE SOFTWARE OR ANY USE OF THE SOFTWARE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, FREEDOM FROM INFRINGEMENT OR ANY OTHER REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE. COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANY USERS OF THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING USER, FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LIABILITY, LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY THE SOFTWARE.
User further agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Company from and against any and all claims or lawsuits including attorney's fees that arise or result from the use or distribution of User applications or services provided by User.
User expressly acknowledges that any modification of the Software, whether or not permitted and irrespective of the extent of such modification, is beyond the control of Company, and as such, such modification shall void all warranties under this Agreement.
The foregoing disclaimers and limitations on liability and remedies set forth above are fundamental elements of the basis of the agreement between Company and User. Company would not be able to provide the Software on an economic basis without such limitations.
9. CONTROLLING LAW AND SEVERABILITY
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Arizona, as applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Arizona between Arizona residents. The courts of the State of Arizona, County of Maricopa, shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any dispute, proceeding or action arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or your use of the Software. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of this Agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the Agreement shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to affect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
10. NON-WAIVER
The failure by either party at any time to enforce any of the provisions of this License Agreement or any right or remedy available hereunder or at law or in equity, or to exercise any option herein provided, shall not constitute a waiver of such provision, right, remedy or option or in any way affect the validity of this License Agreement. The waiver of any default by either party shall not be deemed a continuing waiver, but shall apply solely to the instance to which such waiver is directed.
11. SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS
This Agreement shall be binding on and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns. Except as provided for herein, this Agreement may not be assigned by User without the prior written consent of Company.
12. USE OF SITE IMAGE
User grants a perpetual, world-wide, royalty-free license to Company to use and publish one or more screen shot captures of any User web sites using the Software , User's trademarks, logos or names and/or otherwise list User as a licensee of Company; provided, however, no such license shall be granted to Company if User sends an e-mail to Company stating objecting to such license within ten (10) days of purchasing Software.
13. TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Company offers free technical support and product upgrades for a period of 30 days from the date of this Agreement on all licensed Software products purchased by User. Company shall have no obligations to end users of User products by virtue of this Agreement. User acknowledges that any modification of the Software is beyond the control of Company, and as such, user expressly acknowledges that the foregoing technical support is for the Software (and upgrades) only.
Company does not perform installations on dedicated servers of any kind. You should consult your own IT personnel if you need to perform that type of installation. Using a fully dedicated server requires ongoing operational IT, database, and support and maintenance procedures, and we do not provide those services. Your hosting company "may" provide some, or all, of these services for you on your dedicated server, check with their sales dept.
AspDotNetStorefront is a robust shopping cart and content management solution, not a "WYSIWYG" application. Our storefront platform is designed for use by Asp.Net developers, and therefore usually requires some technical expertise to setup, operate and maintain database, web, and other hardware servers. Furthermore, expertise in at least HTML and the Asp.Net development platform is necessary. While we believe our solution works very well for any store owner, if you do not have this expertise, please consider working with a professional Asp.Net web developer or Information Technology specialist who can assist you with the setup, deployment, maintenance and operations of your e-commerce website on an ongoing basis.
As stated in our maintenance and support agreements, our technical support is limited to questions directly related to our storefront software, its setup (including interaction with SSL certificates), operation, and product features. We DO NOT provide support for day to day operational storefront issues directly with, or on behalf of, store owners or developers. We do not provide IT services such as dedicated server setup and management, database or web server maintenance and backup, virus protection and/or updates, firewall maintenance, or other related hardware/software operations and maintenance. Your hosting company may assist you with these operational duties, check with your hosting company for their policies. Our technical support is limited to questions and issues specifically relating to the storefront software itself, it's setup and operation, questions on how to utilize it's features, and any issues you may be encountering with the actual software.
SSL certificates. To obtain SSL certificates for your site, it is recommended that you contact your hosting company directly, and they will obtain the certificate (for a fee of course) and install it on your site. We can then assist with how the storefront knows about the certification if required.
14. SOURCE CODE PURCHASES
In the case User has also purchased a Source Code License, a separate Source License Agreement (SLA) will be required, and User must agree to SLA terms and conditions prior to being able to download and receive source code files. Returns are not allowed after SLA has been executed.
15. RETURNS
We offer a 30 day money back guarantee from date of order. Upon notice to Company, during that time period, and after User has confirmed that they have deleted and permanently removed all Company software from any server(s), or other computers it was installed on by User, Company will process the return for User. If User has purchased source code version and agreed to the SLA, returns are returns are no longer allowed for any reason.
16. COMPLETE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the complete agreement between User and Company. No amendment or modification may be made to this Agreement except in writing signed by User and Company.

"Quite Simply.......if your company sells products online through AspDotNetStorefront and then manually enters these orders into QuickBooks, then you need the QuickBooks "T-Hub" windows client add-on by AspDotNetStorefront/Atandra Systems!
After years of struggling with manual order entry from our e-commerce site into QuickBooks, and testing several integration programs along the way, we were to the point of completely replacing QuickBooks with an all in one, accounting/order management system. However, we already had many years of learning QuickBooks under our belts, and the thought of learning an entirely new system was not something we looked forward to (nor were able to find the time to do)! "I tried Sales.Cart (ComCity), BVCommerce, Storefront 6.0 (Lagarde) and settled on AspDotNetStorefront PRO. I had a very bad experience with both Sales.Cart and StoreFront. These guys say they offer a 30 day money back guarantee, but in the fine print they don't offer this on the web hosting, or support so I really had to fight hard to get my money back after trying their solution for less than a week.
I'm glad I didn't settle for that, because I have much more control over my pages and the data with the AspDotNetStorefront solution. I've had to learn SQL and .NET a little bit more than I knew already, but these other carts mask you from what's going on with your data. So now my site is live and I know it backwards and forwards.
The other most important thing for me was support. AspDotNetStorefront has been incredible. It seems they are always around, which is great since I seem to always be working on my site. It seems I never have to wait more than a couple of hours to get an answer from them.
Per their recommendation I went with EDT Hosting. Having started a hosting business in the past I am really impressed by their operations and their support. They seem to share the same support credo as AspDotNetStorefront - Always around and have a solution within hours.

A. Not yet, but it is planned. We will be working with the DNN core team shortly on obtaining VISA PABP certification for the ML/DNN version. While AspDotNetStorefront ML is fully VISA PAPB Certified, due to the deep integration with the DNN core user roles, login, and security, the ML/DNN version must be separately certified. The ML/DNN version is based on our fully certified ML 7.0 codebase, so we expect that certifying ML/DNN will be a straightforward process. A. Yes, ML/DNN modules can be displayed with other DNN modules on the same page. A. The ML/DNN product is designed specifically to be installed into a DotNetNuke portal site. The ML version is designed for those creating a new website from scratch (or converting an old/existing site onto our platform). If you are not using DotNetNuke, you would probably use the ML standalone version, which doesn't require DotNetNuke. For a full features matrix, click here.
A. Yes, SSL support is included and does not require a third party module. Note: For reference on this question, the versions of DNN below 4.5.4 did not provide native SSL support. There was no way to designate some pages as requiring SSL and some pages as not requiring SSL. To solve this, you usually had to buy a third party add-on.
A. No. ML/DNN can be installed in a multi-portal DNN environment, but can only exist once and only in one of the portals. DotNetNuke portals can be either a parent or a child portal. Child portals can be accessed on the URL with a domain like www.dnnhost.com/childportal. Parent portals are only portals that can be accessed by using their own domain name like www.parentportal.com or subdomain.dnnhost.com.
A. Unzip your provided ML/DNN download file. The installation instructions can be found in the AspDotNetStorefront DNN Install Guide.doc file from the extracted zip file.
A. Yes, you can. You must have the source code however to add a new payment gateway provider. You'll need to write an additional class file and compile it into the ASPDNSFGateways project. You'll also need to modify a few other files including, but not limited to: the Gateways.cs class file in the ASPDNSFGateways project to account for your new gateway, AppLogic.cs in the ASPSNFCommon project, and orderconfirmation.aspx.cs. If you are concerned with PCI compliance you'll also need to make sure that you follow all PABP/PCI guidelines, which we have done in our own gateway implementations.
A. You need an AspDotNetStorefront customer account. To fix this problem, log in as the new host user and browse to Host > AspDotNetStorefront Install. Scroll down the page and click on the "Create customer" link.
A. You need a AspDotNetStorefront customer account and admin permission. Login as host and browse to ML/DNN admin site. Browse to Users > View/Edit Customers and click on the "Set Admin" button for the user account you want to set an AspDotNetStorefront admin. You can also browse to Users > Edit Admin Users and assign admin permissions with user email addresses.
A. This is a known issue with IIS & DotNetNuke which has been reported in the DNN forums. A partial workaround is to shorten the local path by moving your website closer to the root of the drive.
Using IIS Manager, stop your DNN website
Move the files from c:\inetpub\wwwroot\dotnetnuke to c:\dnn (or another drive)
Verify permissions on the new folder (as per DNN installation instructions)
In IIS Manager|Websites|DotNetNuke Properties||Home Directory Tab, change the local path to your new location

A. The AppConfig table didn't get cached correctly. To correct the error, restart your DNN application. Login as Host. Click Host >Host Settings and then scroll to the bottom and click the "restart application" link.
A. Create a custom XML package and copy it to the /Portals/0/aspdnsf/XMLPackages/ folder. The package will then be displayed in the drop down box in XML Package settings.
A. To display categories on all pages, please use the XMLPackage module. Set module settings by selecting "menu.categories" in XML Package Settings. XMLPackage can be displayed on all pages. Entity module redirects users to the first page that has the applicable AspDotNetStorefront module. URL rewriter doesn't redirect requests of Entity module to multiple pages.
A. This may be a result of cache. Please make sure that your browser is set to get the most updated pages at every visit. You can also change the cache settings in DNN. Login as Host. Browse to Host > Host Settings > Advanced Settings > Performance Settings.
A. ML/DNN requires changes in the DNN url rewriter, SiteUrls.config. Please check if the file exists before installation and that it is set to be writable. Follow our ML/DNN documentation to add the required URL rewrite rules to support the AspDotNetStorefront modules.
A. Product module redirects users to home page if there is no product id specified. This is done to prevent blank product screen from displaying. Also, product module should only be added to the hidden product page.
