1. Introduction DNN has a powerful and flexible skin architecture. But sometimes it is a little inconvenience to find a suitable skin (or container) from skin list through DNN standard way, especially when you have a lot of skin/container packages.
Take us as example, we have about 50 skin/container packages (nearly 250 skin files and 400 container files) - normally we need spend 1-2 hours to find a suitable skin and related containers for a new site through dnn standard way. That's why we develop this module.
This tool can help site administrator switch skin/container more quickly, more straightforward and more effectively, both module and skin object are provided.
2. Module features 1: Module will display skin package (or container package) on left list box, click a item will display its skin files (or container files).
2: The default list is loaded from host skins, you can click “host container” or “portal skin”, “portal container” to load related items. 3: Click thumbnail will open the full image. 4: Change current page or module from top dropdown list box, choose an item (skin or container), click “preview” to preview it. Click “Apply to Page” to apply it to your current page, click “Apply to Site “apply it to whole site. 5: “Apply To Module” button only works for containers, you need switch to container list (host container or portal container) and select a module before click this button. 6:Full localization support.
3.Use it as skin object
Package contains two skin objects, one is for skin files, the other is for container files. Both of them work as the same with module instance.
