The Falafel PressRelease module lets you maintain a catalog of Press Releases, Company and Contact information in your DotNetNuke database.
Stored company includes name, phone fax, email, website, and a rich-text "about" field. Information about the contacts includes name, company, title, phone, fax, email, and website.
Each Press Release is configurable as to release date and time, and pull date; as well as up to four company names, and up to four contacts. Simple checkbox-based logic controls whether the press release is published (visible to users without editing privileges) or featured (displayed more prominently in the module). Normal text fields for the title and subtitle, as well as rich text editors for the summary and main body of the press release, complete the press release information collection.
The Falafel PressRelease module for DotNetNuke is a very functional and uncomplicated module. Control whether or not to show dates and headers in the PressRelease Browser, how many press releases should be visible at one time in the browser, and whether navigation to press releases older than those displayed on the initial screen is enabled – all through module level settings.
