Ever wanted to know more about another user - maybe their birthday, nickname or a bit more about them, or even see what they look like? Well now you can! The UserProfile module can take in any userID from any querystring. This opens up a wealth of functionality - such as modifying any existing modules to pass a userID in (see the customized UsersOnline on the home page) or even linking to a user in an article on your website. For example, have a look at my profile. You can also assign a censorship value against a user, so other modules can only show content appropriate for the target audience. An example of this in action is the Smart-Thinker Quotes module - you'll never see inappropriate or rude quotes according to your censorship...
That’s not all - you get an Upcoming Birthdays view as part of this module - the lucky birthday boy/girl will even get a birthday email on their special day - you could even customize this message for advertising if you wanted to.
It even integrates with Scott Mcculloch's Private Messaging module if you have this installed.
