Now, Falafel's Assessment module for DotNetNuke helps you create and maintain lists of questions like that, control who takes the surveys, and collect and analyze the responses.
As a starting point, the Falafel Assessment module lets you keep track of a two-level (parent-child) set of question categories. For instance, you might be interested in doing a survey of high school students' grasp of basic educational subjects. At the top level, you might break these down into language, math, science, geopolitical, and foreign language. Refining your questions, you decide to subdivide the categories as follows:
Geopolitical: US History, geography, ancient history, European history, Asian history

Foreign Language: Spanish, French, Japanese, Russian, Chinese
Once you have established your categories, you can start to create an assessment. Name the assessment, then create a series of questions. Assign each question to a category, and provide responses for each question.
After the assessment is created, you can create DNN accounts for the assessment takers, and assign assessments for them to take. The assessment taker logs in, and completes the assessment. The management screen tells you at a glance which assessments a given individual has completed, and provides a summary of the results, grouped by response based on the categories you assigned.
