The Bulk User Manager is a sophisticated PA designed to simplify and accelerate the management of users within DotNetNuke portals.
This module was created to assist with the movement and management of large numbers of users and their roles between multiple DotNetNuke portals. The module will work in all hosted environments and works with single and multiple portal configurations. An added benefit of this module is the ability to backup and restore the entire user population for a DotNetNuke portal.
User accounts can be imported and exported to DotNetNuke portals. All user details are handled, including all custom profile properties and user roles.
User details can be exported and imported using either CSV or XML formats. The CSV format can be directly edited using standard spreadsheet software such as Excel or Calc. The XML format uses a standard format that is easily understood and maintained by any XML editor.
This module is essential for all DotNetNuke administrators having to deal with either moving or maintaining large numbers of users. Developers will benefit from being able to backup and restore user accounts for testing purposes. I give this 5 stars simply becasue it can easily be used to import user data from one system such as a Human Resource. Then import and register the users in DNN. Also, allows updating information as an import option, this is a BIG plus. In our case we manange the clients data in ONE HR system and would be foolish to tell our users to go here and there just to update a phone number. Its all taken care of during the update - import. So now the user information is listed the same everywhere. The Gold Source of data is in one location but ths tool allows us to sync it to DNN - GREAT ! (Dwight)

By exercising your rights to install the Bulk User Manager, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA, including the limitations and warranty disclaimers.
If you do NOT agree to the terms of this EULA, please return the Bulk User Manager and immediately destroy all copies of the Bulk User Manager in your possession.
SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE
The Bulk User Manager is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE.
This is a license agreement, and NOT an agreement for sale. PHDobson retains ownership of the copy of the Bulk User Manager in your possession, and all copies you may be licensed to make. PHDobson retains all rights not expressly granted to you in this license. PHDobson hereby grants to you, and you accept, a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, copy and modify the Bulk User Manager only as authorized below.
Provided that you have accepted the terms contained herein, this EULA grants you the following rights:
a) You are granted a license to install the Bulk User Manager on a single instance of DotNetNuke and use it on all child portals running on that instance. You are also permitted to use the same license for local testing by referencing the test site with "localhost" or "127.0.0.1".
b) You are permitted to install on two instances of DotNetNuke only when using the Bulk User Manager to transfer user accounts from one instance to another. In this situation, you must remove the second installation once the transfer of accounts has been completed.
c) You are required to ensure that the Bulk User Manager is not distributed in any form.
d) You may not use any reusable software such as controls, components, plug-ins, stylesheets, etc. independently of the Bulk User Manager.
e) In no case shall you rent, lease, lend, redistribute nor re-license the Bulk User Manager to a 3rd party individual or entity. In no case shall you grant further redistribution rights for the Bulk User Manager to the end-users of your solution.
2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, PHDobson may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the Bulk User Manager and all of its component parts, associated documentation, and related materials.
3. COPYRIGHT.
All title and copyrights in and to the Bulk User Manager (including but not limited to any images,photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the Bulk User Manager), and any copies of the Bulk User Manager are owned by PHDobson except for certain portions for which PHDobson has obtained redistribution rights from the title or copyright holder. The Bulk User Manager is protected by U.S. copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the Bulk User Manager like any other copyrighted material.
4. LIMITED WARRANTY.
NO WARRANTIES. PHDobson expressly disclaims any warranty for the Bulk User Manager. The Bulk User Manager and any related documentation is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the Bulk User Manager remains with you.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. In no event shall PHDobson or its distributors be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other financial loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use this PHDobson product (Bulk User Manager) and related materials, even if PHDobson has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation may not apply to you.
